Emergency Cash Ideas – the Inspiration
The inspiration for Emergency Cash Ideas is all around you. Economic turmoil is everywhere. I could leave it at that, and everyone would understand, but I feel that a few examples are in order.

Teach Your Way to More Money
Are you a teacher or were you a teacher? If so you are probably qualified to teach a GED preparatory course.
In every medium to large size city you’ll find an abundance of people who have realized they need their GED. Find a community center or library where you can get a room to teach your course. This should be low or no cost – saving you money!
Prepare by writing the test yourself or find a way to get a recent test so you can know the types of things to teach. Advertise by printing up posters and placing them on bulletin boards in unemployment offices, factories, libraries, supermarkets etc.
You should be able to charge $25.00 for a 3 hour course and if you get 10 students you’ll make $250.00 per night.

Make Extra Money in the Janitorial Biz
Are you a clean person? Do you like things neat and tidy? If so, you could start up a part time janitorial service.
It isn’t a glamorous business but when done right, it can pay your bills. Most businesses need their offices and stores cleaned after hours, which makes this a perfect part time business.
Most offices are cleaned at least once a week and you should be able to charge $30-$50.00 to clean an average sized office. You can do one office per night in one to two hours. With just 5 clients you can make an extra $150-$250.00 per week in time that you used to spend watching TV.
Make even more money by doing 2 or 3 offices per night. You may not get rich but you will make the extra money you need.

Make Money off the Wall and the Ceiling and the Stairs . . .
Old buildings are torn down in every town every week. Usually the land is more valuable than the building but in some cases, what is in the building can be very valuable.
Old buildings often contain old fireplaces, mantels, doors, moldings, bathtubs, tiles etc. In many cases the company tearing down the building doesn’t want these items and they definitely don’t want to have to pay to dispose of them in a landfill.
You can make money by salvaging these valuable items, cleaning them up and then selling them. Companies like www.timelessmaterials.com sell items like this and you can go to ebay.com and see hundreds of similar items being sold every day. (see the Architectural & Garden section under Antiques)
You might find it beneficial to specialize in a particular area or product, but what ever you do, there is money to be made with this idea.

Make Money with Park Benches
Park benches are a popular advertising medium in most cities. If your town allows you to place benches at bus stops and in parks you can make some serious money by selling advertising space.
There can be lots of competition in this business but that’s because there is a lot of money to be made. You can build your own benches for less than $100 worth of lumber or you can get some at places like http://www.theparkcatalog.com/ Where you can expect to pay $300 to $600 per bench. You can easily do a Google search and find other suppliers.
Check out the rates charged by your competitors and then seriously undercut them. You need to get your business up and running to make some money fast. Your overhead is low so go in at a low price, do some deals and make some money.
